On December 11, 2024, Ritta Co., Ltd., represented by Mr. Panitan Tepnikorn, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Phetshrat Phetdee, Executive Director and General Manager, in collaboration with Siamese Asset Public Company Limited, represented by Mrs. Sunanta Singsansern, Director and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Monthien Yingdamnoon, Executive Director and Chief Business Development Officer, and the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Jenyuk Lohwacharin, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Environmental and Sustainable Engineering, and Prof. Kasem Choocharukul, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, together with Assoc. Prof. Nopdanai Ajavakom, Ph.D., Associate Dean, Asst. Prof. Surat Kwanmuang, Ph.D., Associate Dean, along with the team signed a memorandum of understanding for the project “Zero Construction Wastes and Upcycling Products” between Ritta Co., Ltd., Siamese Asset Public Company Limited and the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University at Siamese Club, 22nd floor of Cassia Rama 9 Bangkok by Banyan Group.
The objective of this memorandum of understanding is for research and development of new products from construction waste, as well as promoting the application of knowledge in the construction industry and other related industries, which will help in efficient resource utilization, cost reduction, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, enhanced competitiveness, and sustainable development.
